Something In The Sky was created in 2003 out of a passion for aviation, photography and the general Earth Sciences. My background is in Geographic Information Systems and after about 4 years into working with GIS I recognized that I found one of the most fascinating components of the GIS was always the ortho photo and other imagery products and the powerful visual analysis they provided. As I began working on several GIS projects for local companies there appeared to be a need for oblique photos as well as the traditional ortho and vertical products. I've been providing obliques to businesses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland ever since!

As business has grown I've upgraded equipment to ensure that I provide my customers with the best product possible.

I'm currently using the following camera gear.

Canon 5D Mark 2- 21.1 Mega pixel Camera

Canon 24-105 F4 Image Stabilized L Series Lens

Canon 70-200 F2.8 Image Stabilized L Series Lens
